Dr. Ireland’s advanced medical practice of Functional Medicine and Osteopathy looks for root causes of diseases and dysfunction based on each patient’s unique physiology, structure, personal history, and genetic make-up. This approach extends and complements standard Primary Care and single system medical specialties such as gastroenterology, endocrinology, gynecology, and orthopedics.
Functional Medicine includes scientifically validated specialized testing and treatments for biochemical and hormonal imbalances and optimization of nutritional status. Osteopathy addresses each person’s unique body structure and functional issues to optimize function and wellbeing.
